Shakib Khan is a Bangladeshi actor who appears mostly in Bengali films. His real name is Masud Rana. He is the most successful & paid hero of Bengali cinema in the recent times. He is very famous in Bangladesh for not only his acting but also his dancing.

The 6 feet 2 inches tall actor Shakib Khan was born on 28th March 1983 in Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His father Abdur Rab was a government officer and his mother Nurjahan is a housewife. He has one brother and one sister. He is the youngest amongst his siblings. He was a good student in his student life and did a brilliant result in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams.

Shakib Khan made his film carrier debut in 1999 in Anonto Bhalobasa directed by Shohanor Rahman Shohan, though it did not lead to widespread fame. After a few years Shakib Khan established himself as an actor in Bangladeshi film history. In his carrier Shakib Khan has received various awards, including two national film awards for Best Actor for Bhalobaslei Ghor Badha Jay Na and Khodar Pore Maa. Apart from acting, Shakib khan also known as a producer. He started his producer carrier in 2014. His first produced movie was Hero-The Superstar under his own banner SK films. As per his biography, Hero-The Superstar went on to become one of Dhallywood’s highest grossing films.

Now he is the current president of Film Artist Association and also involved himself in various social cultural activities. He is also the brand ambassador of Asian Duplex Town and Pran Power Energy Drink. In a word we can say that he is the nucleus of Bangladeshi Film Industry.
